Violy McCausland-Seve
Violy McCausland-Seve is an Investor/Partner and Member of the Board of Advisors of the Company. Ms. McCausland-Seve is the President and CEO of Violy & Company “VB&P” violyco.com, a leading independent investment bank, focusing solely on Latin America. The April 2001 cover story of Latin CEO magazine refers to her as “Latin America’s Queen of Mergers & Acquisitions”. Since its inception in 1996, VB&P has advised on some of the most complex transactions in Latin America, totaling over thirteen billion dollars.
Ms. McCausland-Seve has been providing advisory services in Latin America for nearly 20 years. She is recognized as one of the world’s investment bankers with the most experience in Latin America and has been a pioneer in restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and capital raising for Latin American companies.
Over her career, Ms. McCausland-Seve has led more that thirty billion dollars in successful transactions including mergers, divestitures, acquisitions, spin-offs, public and private capital raisings, restructurings, privatizations and project financings. Prior to founding VB&P, Ms. McCausland-Seve joined James D. Wolfensohn, the current President of the World Bank, as a partner to develop his Latin American practice. Her success was acclaimed in 1995 by Global Finance who named her a Latin America “Superstar”. Before working with Mr. Wolfensohn, Ms. McCausland-Seve worked at J.P. Morgan, where she rose to Managing Director and led the Latin American Restructuring Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions businesses, as well as the Latin American Credit Analysis Group.
She serves on the Investment Committee of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, she is a Board Member for BOMB, a NYC art magazine, and is a Director of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce’s Northeast Chapter.
