Phillip Bogdal

Phillip Bogdal is a Partner of the Company. Mr. Bogdal is President of EcoPlan, he formed his Land Planning and Landscape Architectural firm in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in April, 1996, and the following year opened a second office in Brazil. In June of 1999, EcoPlan opened a third office in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Now in its thirteenth year of operation, EcoPlan, under Phil’s direction, has worked in eleven countries and the United States in projects range from hotels and destination resorts to high density, affordable housing communities. Phil was a partner with an international planning firm beginning in 1973 and affiliated with that firm until founding EcoPlan. During that time, he was involved in every aspect of the profession, focusing most of his efforts on the international market, especially Latin America. However, his responsibilities included numerous projects around the globe and the opening of several new markets for the company. In fact, projects under Bogdal’s direction were the first to be built for that firm in Spain, Cyprus, Israel, Malaysia, Japan, Zimbabwe, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica and Argentina. Bogdal’s project experience also extends to Mexico, Ireland, France, Chile, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua, Venezuela and virtually the entire Caribbean Basin.

He understands the profession both from a design and administrative standpoint. His duties have covered the entire range of the planning and landscape architectural profession.

Bogdal attended Syracuse University receiving his Bachelor of Environmental Science degree in 1972 and his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree (cum laude) in 1973. Key projects, which have been directed by Bogdal, include:
