Herbert Bettinger
Herbert Bettinger is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Bettinger Asesores, S.C (www.bettinger.com.mx) a Mexican Law Firm that provides advice to national and foreign companies, as well as individuals that cover a wide range of economic activities.
Mr. Bettinger is a lawyer specialized in national and international tax consulting and an advisor in the development of multiple business projects in Mexico and abroad, including Corporate law and Compliance. In addition to his practice, he has specialized in leading-edge topics such as Blockchain, NFTs, Cryptocurrencies, Esports, among others.
He has extensive professional experience in both public and private sectors. He began his professional career in the public sector, in the Federal Tax Prosecutor’s Office, within the Office of the Deputy Attorney for Legislation and Consultation in 2005. In the following years he participated in several prestigious firms, where he specialized in the tax consulting area Ernst & Young 2009-2010; Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa 2010-2013; Bettinger Asesores, SC 2013 to date.
He is co-author of 4 books on national and international tax matters, and has participated in multiple publications, as well as the creation of an own magazine focused on various tax and legal issues.
He considers education as a fundamental pillar for the professional development, being a speaker in several forums and courses. He participates in several bar associations. He has a Law Degree from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM); A Master’s Degree in International Public Policies focused on International Taxes from DUKE University; Certificate on International Taxes by DUKE University; Certificate in Taxes from ITAM; Certificate in the joint ITAM-DUKE in international taxes ; Corporate program from ITAM and a Certificate on Cryptocurrency regulation University of Guadalajara (UAG)
